Hello Friends and Furry Wagging Tails,
There has been a pressing dream on my mind for many years now: To expand Man's Best Friend and be able to bring to market, and offer, really unique dog products. As I was sitting down to write this donation page and make a plea for donations, it occurred to me that I needed to come up with a unique concept beyond the usual begging and pleading that goes with typical charity requests.

Have you heard about the man, Kyle MacDonald, who traded a red paper clip for a house? His dream was to get a house through a series of increasingly better trades and he started with a red paper clip! You can read more about it: Click here. He did indeed end up getting a house and proved that with a little ingenuity, anything is possible. He became a mini celebrity for his fabulous idea and well known as the man that simply had a wacky plan. Way to go, Kyle! You rock!

His story has inspired me and gotten my creative juices flowing. It's obvious to me his idea worked because it was a novel and creative way to achieve an otherwise difficult goal for many of us—purchasing a home.

Since I'm finding expansion equally difficult without the 6 figure capital I need to do it, I’ve come up with my own brand of donation giving. I hope to also be recognized someday as the girl that just had a dream and a plan, and came up with a great incentive for people to donate to her cause.

My goal is to earn ( a little over) one million dollars by one million people donating just $1.50! WITH A BIG INCENTIVE FOR THE DONATION! I believe in giving back.

Here's how it works:

  1. Please, please, (it turns out I am humble and not beneath begging after all!) Click the button below and donate $1.50
  2. Feel free to donate as many times as you wish.
  3. I'll make a daily numbered list of each donor and post it on my website. I'll number them in the order that each donation is made. If you don't want your name posted, just let me know by sending an email to hhc335@yahoo.com, and you'll get the honorary 'anonymous' title (but I will put your initials so you'll know it's you)
  4. Now, here's the fun part: I believe in giving back so, at certain pay levels (see pay schedule below) I'm going to randomly select numbers to win at different pay levels. For example, if you donate in pay Level 1, once 100 people have donated, I'll randomly select someone in that group to win $10.00 If you donate in pay level 5, and you're randomly selected, you'll receive $1000.00 (not bad for a $1.50 donation!!) The pay schedule gets higher and higher until……
  5. The randomly selected person in Pay Level 6 will receive $5,000 (yes, you read it right!) and then…
  6. The randomly selected person in the last pay level will receive $100,000!! (now it's in writing folks, so IT'S OFFICIAL!) With a little creativity, and a little love and generosity from my fellow earthlings, I believe anything really IS possible!!
I know it's a wacky idea, but so was trading up a paper clip for a house, and now that I think of it, landing on the moon was kind of out there too, so this can't be too far off.

I’ve only got a few "rules" to this raffle/game/random drawing:

  1. In order to participate and have your name listed, you have to donate at least $1.50
  2. You can donate more than once. In fact, you can donate as many times as your heart desires! The more times you donate, the more chances you'll have at having your name randomly selected in any given pay level.
  3. I will post the donor's names by 9 PM PST each day. I anticipate that as the list grows longer and higher pay marks are neared, there will be a scramble to make donations. I'm already very excited for the winners!
  4. At each pay mark, I will scan and post the check I write so we can all celebrate the winning donor's luck together!
  5. This "game" will end when the numbered list reaches one million.
  6. Have fun!!
I am looking forward to the adventure I know is ahead I want to pre-congratulate the people who will be receiving, in some cases considerable, monetary gifts and I look forward to handing out the final $100,000 to the incredibly lucky random winner!

PAY SCHEDULE:

Level 1 When list reaches 100 people, a random number will be picked between 1-100.
Person with that number receives $10!

Level 2 When list reaches 500 people, a random number will be picked between 101-500.
Person with that number receives $50!

Level 3 When list reaches 1000 people, a random number will be picked between 501-1000.
Person with that number receives $100!

Level 4 When list reaches 5000 people, a random number will be picked between 1001-5000.
Person with that number receives $500!

Level 5 When list reaches 10,000 people, a random number will be picked between 5001-10,000.
Person with that number receives $1000!

Level 6 When list reaches 50,000 people, a random number will be picked between 10,001-50,000.
Person with that number receives $5000!

Level 7 When list reaches 100,000 people, a random number will be picked between 50,001-100,000.
